The EARNED Act is a nonpartisan volunteer citizen campaign. Here is what happens to the information you give us.

What we collect

When you sign the petition: your name, email address, ZIP code, whether you are a veteran, service member, military family, employer or supporter, and your story if you choose to share one.

How we use it

• To count signatures and show officials how many people support the EARNED Act, by total and by area. We do not publish individual names without asking you first. We quote a story only if you checked the box allowing it, and then only with your first name and city.
• To send occasional campaign updates, if you checked that box. Reply "remove" to any update and we'll take you off the list.

What we never do

We never sell, rent or trade your information. We don't share it with political parties, candidates or campaigns, employers, the military, advertisers or anyone outside this campaign, except the email service that stores the list for us.

Removing your information

Email [email protected] and we'll delete your signature and contact details.

If the campaign is handed to a veterans organization in the future, we will email signers first and give you the chance to be removed.
